The Consortium of Universities for Evaluation Education (CUEE) is a voluntary association of Canadian universities, various levels of government, the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES), and the Canadian Evaluation Society Educational Fund (CESEF).
CUEE collaborates with its partners to disseminate information and extend supports and opportunities to students and others who are interested in graduate education in program evaluation.
Canadian Evaluation Society (CES)
The Canadian Evaluation Society was one of the founding members of CUEE. A member of the CES Executive Board is an ex officio member of CUEE. CES’ Credentialed Evaluator Designation includes a requirement for a graduate degree and education and training in evaluation that can be satisfied by successfully completing a graduate-level credential in evaluation offered by one of several CUEE members.
Each year, CUEE members and students participate in the Annual CES Conference. CUEE members and students often take part in the CES / CESEF Student Evaluation Case Competition.
CES provides a wealth of information, professional learning opportunities, mentoring and other resources for professional evaluators, including:
The Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation
CESEF
The Canadian Evaluation Society Educational Fund (CESEF) was originally created by CES in 1990, and became an independent charity in 2006, to enhance the capacity of evaluators across Canada by supporting educational activities through scholarships, awards, and educational opportunities.
For several years, CUEE members have participated in adjudication committees for CESEF programs, including:
